I was born in Misawa, Japan in the Aomori prefecture. On an airforce base because my parents were both military. I'm 20 and I'm the oldest sibling to my 2 brothers. I'm Puerto Rican and African-American. I was raised Catholic and grow up in the church. Although my relationship with the Catholic church is strained. I will always love the Lord and I will lead a godly life through morality. I love my family with all my heart we've been throuh thick and thin. And fostering a good relationship with them has been a long and arduous process. But I am so grateful for time, love and change. Because we have all evolved into the best versions of ourselves and learned to be good for one another.
Im studying electrical engineering at ASU but my real passion is Art and Music I just happen to be a genius. I have always been creative and artistic since birth. I've done ballet, gymnastics, track, violin, guitar , and the clarinet. I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, I've recently gotten an Ipad so I've been doing a lot more digital art. But my heart will always be with traditional. I find solace in the smell of paint thinner, the sound of pencil on paper, clay all over me, the imagery behind beautiful words, and the texture of oil on canvas. Art has been frustratingly beautiful and I am so blessed that I have been given the gift of artistry . The ability to create something is truly the most enamoring thing on earth. My loved ones always support me which is so helpful. My love for art in all forms is eternal and I can't wait to share it here!
Music is my love language. My lifetime favorite song will always be Sierra Leone by Frank Ocean. This song means so much to me because of a memory with me and my dad. In 2013 my family and I moved from California to Arizona we drove so it was a cutesy lil family trip. I was 7 so of course I hardly remeber the majority of it but the one thing that stuck with me changed my outlook on life. My dad played the whole frank ocean album but specifically this lyric from Sierra Leone was burned into my memory:
Tonight, I'll lay her in the cradle if it's time for go to sleep (Oh, go to sleep, oh-oh) I'll sing a Lennon lullaby, she can have a pretty dream Baby girl, if you knew what I know, knew what I know, ooh-oh"
My parents had me when they were 20 and I was their first kid. They didn't know how to take care of a themselves let alone a baby. But they loved me so incredibly much and in restropect I know they tried their hardest.
My dad was singing along and when this lyric came up he turned from the wheel and held my face in his hands and sang this to me. Everytime I hear this song now I cannot help but cry. My dad always wanted to fulfill all my pretty dreams and shield me from all the bad in the world; because I was his baby girl. And oh how I wish I knew what he knew. I wish back then I knew how much love they had for me, how sad the world can get. But most importantly I wish I knew how much beauty there was in this world, how many amazing places and people I would get to experience. All the things I could attain someday. It amazes me that there is still so much left to experience and I cannot even begin to fathom it. How I wish I could know what the future holds for me ...
I dont like many things as well. I hate drama and being angry. I dislike rude and bigoted people. But in order to stay happy I dont allow any of it to hold any weight in my heart. There is no room for hatred in my life even the people who have wronged me the most I have forgiven and chose to move on from. This makes my life very happy!
Don't stalk me pleek I already have a fanclub who has watched my every move... I'm scared they'll find this too lol
